Acceptable Use Policy
Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: 6 September 2026 Last Updated: 6 September 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") explains what you can and cannot do on Kay Vault. It applies to everyone who uses the Platform — Hub owners, promoters, and general users — and is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Violating this AUP may result in content removal, Hub suspension, account termination, and/or referral to law enforcement.
If something isn't explicitly listed here, use good judgment: the absence of a specific rule doesn't make conduct acceptable if it's illegal, deceptive, or harmful.v
- Who This Applies To
This AUP applies to all activity on Kay Vault, including:
- Hub creation and the identity verification process;
- Content posted into feed rounds (free or paid slots);
- Direct messages, comments, or any other interaction the Platform enables;
- Use of the Kay Vault API or any integration built on it.
- Identity and Verification
Because Kay Vault requires Hub owners to verify their identity before promoting anything, you must not:
- Submit false, altered, borrowed, or stolen identification or business documents;
- Impersonate another person, business, or brand;
- Create a Hub on behalf of someone else without their explicit authorization;
- Attempt to bypass, automate, or trick our identity verification process;
- Operate multiple accounts or Hubs to evade a suspension, rejection, or verification requirement.
- Prohibited Products, Services, and Content
You may not use Kay Vault to promote:
3.1 Illegal or Regulated Items
- Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia where prohibited;
- Weapons, firearms, ammunition, or explosives where prohibited, or in violation of applicable law;
- Counterfeit or unauthorized replica goods;
- Stolen goods or goods obtained through fraud;
- Items requiring a license you do not hold (e.g., prescription medication, regulated financial products) where such promotion would violate law.
3.2 Fraud and Deception
- Pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, or "get rich quick" / unrealistic guaranteed-return offers;
- Fake, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about a product's effects, origin, quality, or results (including fake health/medical claims);
- Counterfeit reviews, fake engagement, bot-driven views/likes/follows, or artificially inflated metrics;
- Phishing, malware distribution, or links to deceptive or harmful websites;
- Misrepresenting who you are, who you represent, or what you're selling.
3.3 Harmful or Exploitative Content
- Sexually explicit content, or content sexualizing minors in any way (zero tolerance — will be reported to relevant authorities);
- Content that promotes or facilitates violence, terrorism, or self-harm;
- Hate speech or content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar protected characteristics;
- Harassment, bullying, doxxing, or threats directed at any individual;
- Content exploiting a crisis, tragedy, or vulnerable individuals for promotional gain.
3.4 Intellectual Property Violations
- Products or content that infringe another party's copyright, trademark, patent, or other IP rights;
- Content you don't have the rights or licenses to promote (e.g., reselling digital products without authorization);
- Use of Kay Vault's own branding, name, or trademarks without written permission.
3.5 Platform Abuse
- Scraping, harvesting, or mass-collecting data from the Platform without written permission;
- Reverse-engineering, probing, or attempting to bypass the feed round/slot system;
- Automated bulk account or Hub creation;
- Interfering with the Platform's infrastructure, security, or availability (including DDoS-style behavior, injection attacks, or credential stuffing);
- Circumventing rate limits, paid-slot requirements, or moderation systems.
- Promotional Content Standards
Even where a product, service, or content itself is permitted, promotional Content must:
- Accurately describe the product, service, or content being promoted (no bait-and-switch);
- Clearly disclose pricing, delivery/access expectations, and any material limitations, to the extent relevant to the promotion;
- Not use manipulative or deceptive design/language intended to trick users into clicking, purchasing, or sharing personal data;
- Comply with applicable advertising standards and consumer-protection laws in the markets you're targeting;
- Include any legally required disclosures (e.g., sponsorship, age restrictions) where applicable.
- Off-Platform Transactions
Kay Vault is a promotional platform. Transactions between a promoter and a buyer/customer take place off-platform. This means:
- Kay Vault is not responsible for the fulfillment, quality, refunds, or delivery of anything promoted through the Platform;
- Hub owners are solely responsible for honoring whatever terms they present to potential customers off-platform;
- Directing users off-platform for the purpose of a transaction is expected and permitted, provided the destination itself complies with this AUP (e.g., it isn't a phishing or malware site) and the disclosure of what you're offering is accurate.
- Enforcement
We may, at our discretion and with or without prior notice:
- Remove or restrict specific Content;
- Reject or revoke Hub approval;
- Suspend or permanently terminate an account;
- Withhold payouts or refuse paid-slot purchases related to a violation;
- Report unlawful activity to law enforcement or relevant regulators.
The severity of our response will generally reflect the severity and pattern of the violation, but we reserve the right to act immediately in cases involving fraud, illegal activity, or harm to users.
- Reporting Violations
If you encounter Content or a Hub that appears to violate this AUP, please report it to support@kayvault.com or through the in-app reporting tool. Include as much detail as possible (links, screenshots, Hub name) to help us investigate.
- Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time to address new risks or platform features. Material changes will be communicated in advance where practicable. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated AUP.
